Auto Assist has joined forces with FIXD!
We’re excited to share an important update regarding your Craftsman Auto Assist experience.
On December 11th, 2026, the Craftsman branded Auto Assist App will be retired. Beginning June 5th, 2026, you’ll be able to pair your Craftsman Auto Assist diagnostic tool with the FIXD app — an industry-leading OBD-II solution and the original host of the Craftsman Auto Assist App.
This transition is designed to enhance your experience, bringing you improved features and continued reliable service. To keep using your Craftsman Auto Assist diagnostic tool, simply download the FIXD App here:

If you choose not to continue with the Craftsman Auto Assist app and hardware, no further action is needed. Rest assured, your data will be securely maintained by FIXD throughout this transition. If you’d like to delete your personal data, please contact privacy@fixdapp.com.
Here is a timeline of what you can expect from us:·
Today: Your Craftsman Auto Assist Hardware is already compatible with the FIXD App and can be used right now.
July 11th, 2026: The CraftsmanAuto Assist App will be delisted from the Apple App Store and Google PlayStore. Existing users will still be able to use the Craftsman Auto Assist App, but new users will not be able to download the app.
September 11th, 2026: A reminder email will be sent to ensure a smooth transition
December 11th, 2026: The Craftsman Auto Assist app will be shut down and it will cease to function. Users who would like to continue using the Craftsman Auto Assist hardware must download the FIXD App.
